Hello. My name is Mitchell Szczepanczyk – I live in Chicago, my family is originally from Poland, and I work as a software engineer.
I’ve been involved with work around the model of a participatory economy for many years. In 2004, I co-founded a group called CAPES (the Chicago Area Participatory Economics Society) which organized various events. I contributed to two books about the model of a participatory economy – “Real Utopia” edited by Chris Spannos, and the forthcoming “Democratic Economic Planning” written by Robin Hahnel.
