I just reviewed a very interesting article for a journal called āHistorical Materialismā which reviews a very large and interesting literature about estimating consumer demand. The article includes a great deal of information about new technologies being used by companies like Amazon, and also goes back over much of the āold, socialist calculation debateā literature. Assuming the article gets published, it is a valuable source of information on this topic. And perhaps we can induce the author to join us on the forumā¦ when I find out who he or she is!
